Bee Pollen

Does anyone have any information or thoughts on Bee Pollen? I am taking it to try to give me some energy.

Wanted to add something here -- Source Naturals does make some very good supplements.  They began as a good company with a few innovative supplements such as Quercitin Plus and Wellness and co-enzymated B vitamins and sublingual melatonin, but then shifted to a copy-cat company and a discounter.  So they're kind of a hybrid company with some great stuff and some not so great stuff.  I'm not saying avoid all their products, just their bee pollen.

Have to disagree.  Source Naturals isn't a good source of bee pollen.  Never heard of Club natural.  The best place to get good quality bee pollen is from a local beekeeper; sometimes you can find that at a good small health food store.  Source Naturals uses the cheapest ingredients it can find, and uses Chinese bee pollen, which is not only not fresh but also often tainted with harmful chemicals.  If you want to buy good quality from a company, YS Royal Jelly is about the best and freshest out there for both royal jelly and bee pollen.  Sorry, respirate.

Bee pollen is just loaded with nutrients and enzymes.  One of the so-called super foods.  Royal Jelly is even better, but a lot more expensive -- it's the only thing that makes a queen bee a queen.  Only one caution -- most of the bee pollen sold now in the US is low quality old stuff from China.  What you want, if possible, is nice fresh stuff from somewhere close to you so the pollen comes from plants you're regularly exposed to -- helps with allergies, too, that way.  And it should be refrigerated.
