veruca removal

i recently had two verucas removed. i had 6 injections nitorgen bullets and then removed by scalpel. the one veruca has heaed incredibly well but the other one had a yellow surrounded area and itäs tender, it looks like puss but it's not as iäve tried to lance it. the podiatrist said itäs because i've not been taking care of it and i need to moiturise more often and wear a sock. i will go back and get the skin treated ina  few weeks but in the meantime i've had the yellow area for two weeks now and i'm wondering if there's anything i can do to ease the discomfort. happy for any advice.

This is a doctor's call, as you had a doctor's treatment.  You might ask him about calendula oil, comfrey cream and aloe vera, all of which might enhance healing, and you might try some arnica montana, a homeopathic remedy that often aids in the healing of injuries or trauma.  Keep in mind that warts are caused by a virus, and there are natural anti-virals you might try next time, as warts tend to recur unless the virus is controlled.  Herb Pharm makes a good anti-viral combination extract that can be taken internally and externally called lomatium hypericum, but there's a lot of stuff out there that can help.  Hope you heal quickly.

thank you so much for your response and sorry i didn't respond earlier but i was unsure as to how this site works!
very detailed answer and very much appreciated.
i had the one veruca for 4 years and trust me i tried everything you can legally think of, chemical and herbal but i would with the public where my feet are on show and i needed to take action as 3 more had started to appear and the second one was almost the size of the first one! as a rule i don't take medication or anything chemical but this was a last resort.
anyway thanks again for your kindness and speedy response
