Could it be als?

Hi! I have been having pain and weakness and numbness in my left hand for 6 months now. I have done an emg in left hand that came back as normal, well the doctor said there was nothing wrong with my hand. When i came back home i started searching on the internet ( shouldnt have) i saw als and kind of panicked cuz i never asked him if it couldve been that. If he did an emg (he inserted 2 needles on each side of hand and did some kind of test with electrodes) on my hand and it came back normal, can  i rule out als for sure?
