The vet said Squeekers is doing fine and it looks like some sort of allergy. She said to expect him to lose all of his hair and has put him on a med for in his food and one that we give him via syringe.
His belly is now completely bare and you can see his skin through what little hair he has left on his back. He's starting to look like a large rat, but we love him anyway. He always seems to be cold, so we take his horse blanket with us everywhere.
Thanks again for the advise and I apologize for not updating you sooner, as I thought I had.
Kind regards,
Sandi
Thank you for the advice! I've contacted his veterinarian and he goes in tomorrow evening. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again!
Sandi
If it seems abnormal, it probably is. There are many external parasites that can cause problems - even in well cared for puppies. Demodex, ear mites, and fleas are the top three concerns and they are all treated differently. Some are contagious and others are not. Please see your veterinarian to help out Squeekers. Let us know how it goes!
