Harness can get caught on things.  Only keep the harness on when walking her.

Thank you so much for answering my question, she does have a collar but she likes to pull when she's hooked and wearing it so when I got the harness I took it off and I will not leave the harness on her all the time now that I know they can get annoyed with it and get tangled up that's the last thing I'd want to happen, thanks again for answering :)

Hello!
I saw your question and thought I may be able to help because I have a shi tzu/bichon mix and he also has a harness! We put on his harness only when we take him for a walk. However, he was out visiting a "doggie friend" yesterday and didn't mind keep his harness on all day without the leash.

Does your dog also have a collar?

From my own experience I would suggest taking off the harness when your not walking her. Sometimes they can get annoyed with it being on all the time and will try to squirm out of it. This could lead to a very umcomfortable "tangled up" situation for your dog. I think that your best not having it on all the time incase she does get tangled in it, especially if your not home to supervise her.
