Am I crazy?

I've never been diagnosed with anything because I've been too afraid to tell anyone about my issues before, but I'm starting to become concerned. For as long as I can remember, I've had these...I guess you could call them intrusive thoughts. I'll be doing something and all of a sudden, a word or phrase pops into my head from nowhere. Sometimes it's a curse word, sometimes a threat toward someone even though I'm not typically angry at them, or just a random word. For instance, I was watching a video in Spanish class and my teacher asked what is culturally different and I was about to answer, but my thought was silenced and instead the word "Vaginas!" Popped into my head out of nowhere. Another example is when I was with my aunt shopping and I heard/saw "turn around!". There's dozens more but you get the gist of it.

Another thing is that I see color where it shouldn't be seen. No matter what or who I look at, I see a blue outline on one side of them/it, and on the other side is orange or yellow. At first I thought it was my glasses, but I've been through several pairs and this has been happening since I was a little kid. When I take my glasses off, I still see it.

If you have any advice about either things, that would be fantastic!

Please and thank you.

Hey hello :) I identify to a certain extent maybe diffrent words, would say what you resist persists so even when the thought pops up as long as you allow it to be there and even be excited about it lol it will go, you are not your thoughts, what you are explaining about the outline I had the same and still do at times no orange or yellow though but like an energetic field as what you would see when you put gasoline in the car the damps, we are energetic being you are most propably senstive and open to this, its cool , what has helped me also a lot and I have shared this is the Sedona method in allowing thoughts, beliefs, emotions etc and letting them go . hope it helps! much love

I'm sorry to say that you have stumped me. Hopefully someone else on the forum will have had a similar experience or will have some knowledge of what you're dealing with. I've never heard of symptoms like these relating to anxiety..........but I can certainly understand how they could be making you anxious.

I would definitely advise talking to your parents about this, and if that's not possible, the school nurse. I think it would be good to have this evaluated by a medical doctor. I do NOT think you are "crazy." I think there is a medical, physical and/or psychological reason this is happening and they will figure out what that is.

Please don't hide this any longer..........you've suffered long enough. Time to find an answer.
You'll be fine
