Anxiety/Thyroid

hey everyone!

i have this continuous nervous feeling, as if i am always on edge (this feeling doesn't change in public or when im at home alone). i dont suffer from panic attacks at all.

my doctor says im suffering from hypothyroidism, according to my test results and this could be causing the generalized anxious feeling, i am suffering from fatigue as a result of these symptoms. the problem is that i seem to have certain symptoms of hyperthyroidism ie sweating easily and slightly swallon thyroid gland.

Please help! if someone could give me some advice about these symptoms, it would make my day

Regards

Desperate Aussie

Thanks a lot for the reply! I've just started taking meds for my thyroid so hopefully my symptoms (fatigue and generalized felling of anxiety/nervousness) will be no more!

Cheers

Hi! I have a hypothyroid and when my thyroid is not functioning properly it exacerbates my anxiety.  I would work on getting your thyroid functioning and see if this alleviates some of your symptoms...
