Anxiety and health anxiety

I went through some serious traumatic events 8 months ago that a doctor diagnosed me with PTSD . I have daily dizziness and pressure in my head .  I can no longer sit down at work and have meetings bc I need to get up n run . Eating is a difficult task bc I focus on my swallowing . I fear the usual things now like hiv and cancer . I drink n wake up the next day n think I got raped by someone with no evidence but bc I fear hiv I freak out . Now I found a bubble on my tongue and I’m googling oral cancer . While I’m doing all this worrying everything about me is moving on and I lost my girlfriend recently bc my stress was just making me irritated at everything . I’m still positive I can overcome all these things bc I feel my brain n me put me here so I gotta find the way out of this Maze which I call my brain .  Anxiety sucks and one year ago I was a confident happy guy n now I’m a stressed out person that feels confined n locked with tension.

If this started with traumatic events, the professional you should be seeing is a psychologist who specialize in anxiety treatment -- most don't.  Most of us with anxiety disorders haven't a clue as to why they're there, but if you know your origin story you have something solid to work on getting past in therapy.  Now, I'm assuming the events were the trigger and you weren't suffering anxiety before they happened.  PTSD is a very particular diagnosis and has treatments that are different from those with other anxiety disorders.  But to truly know if you have it, you need to see a professional who knows how to diagnose it, and a doctor isn't that person.
