I have been in the same situation before, I would say the best approach of overcoming social anxiety is to understand the causes and symptoms. Relazation and daily exercise might be helpful.

I guess I am going to post another question that addresses my concerns about anxiety and depression more completely. So if you see the post please respond if you have some insight. Thanks so much again for your messages, they were all very helpful!!!
Becoming physically and emotionally effective by anxiety/panic attacks is very normal.
It's impossible to have a clear mind when going through these horrible symptoms that effects every aspect of your life. I became depressed after developing anxiety/panic attacks as well as becoming afraid of closed spaces and even going outside. It made to into a person that i was not, however once diagnosed and on med's and learning how to cope with this condition, i overcame it and although i still have panic attacks, i know how to manage them and not allow them to control me!....
I advise you to seek help and take it from there before matters become overwhelming.
o yes it is normal to have this with anxiety i was the same, one day laughing one day crying,i was the same,i really believe that anxiety can get you down so much that in the end it do play with your emotions, when i went to the doctors i broke down to her she offered me therapy but there was a waiting list so i just dealt with it on my own,it was hard and i took one day at a time,i have more good days than bad,but i feels alot better.
It sounds like you are experiencing depression along with anxiety, as I do. This is common and often the depression can result from the anxiety, or there may be another cause for the depression. Therapy can help a lot with this, we often have a root cause for one or both and once you discover what that is, you can deal with it and move on. Therapy teaches us a lot about ourselves, and also how to think differently and cope better. I know it's confusing to have both, but a lot of us do, so know you're not alone.
Depression makes us sad, angry, cry, feel alone, and unmotivated. Talk to your doctor about this and take care.
