The past 3 days whenever I take a nap or goto sleep for the night, right before I drift off to sleep I feel what seems to be like my body trembling. I've even felt the muscles around my throat and some times what feels like my tongue twitching and shaking. These arn't jerks that last for like 1 second, they keep going. It's hard to describe but its sort of like how your body shakes when you get a cold chill.
Now I have extreme health anxiety and the past 3 months have been about the worst ive had so far in my life.
I went to my doctor the other day and he talked to me and did a basic Neuro exam and looked me over and didnt find anything. My blood pressure was pretty high 142/100 and so he put me on blood pressure meds and also ordered a EKG which came back normal.
I just wish I knew what this trembling was. He said it might be from anxiety or from hypoglycemia since I'm pre-diabetic and had kinda slacked off on taking my metformin and not eatting regularly.
Anyone else had this issue before?
