Double my Paxil dose

Currently been on Paxil 10mg. for several years with great results, however, recently uncontrollable situations in my life have made me start suffering some anxiety that is not resolved with my current dose.  Is it safe to double my dose for a limited period of time??

Yes please dont do it without your doctors ok and advice. I have been on Paxil for over 13 years and had to raise my dose on 10mg. Good Luck and I hope you start to feel better soon.

I agree!  Don't mess around with these drugs on your own, your doctor can best advise you.

I wouldnt do that unless advised by a physician..also you may benefit more from something that is specifically for anxiety to get u through this difficult time. I believe although Paxil does help with anxiety , I m pretty sure it is mostly for depression...see what your Dr says...especially so u can start feeling better as soon as possible. Good Luck!!
