Beta Blockers for anxiety

Has anyone found beta blockers to be useful for anxiety and/or panic attacks? If so, could you tell me which one and what dosage?

We are not allowed to give dosage information but my cardiologist has RX'd Inderol (propanolol) for anxiety treatment for me before. Worked like a charm
