Can a higher dosage have reverse side effects? Help!

Hi my name is Hannah and I'm 17.
My doctor prescribed me Buspar the lowest dosage as a starter. It was doing great. My anxiety started to let up and my phobias started to disappear. I was beginning to get my life back. After about two weeks she called me back for a check up and she was very pleased with my reaction to the medication. But she made my dosage higher. 30 Mg. In about a week my anxiety came back and I mean full on, phobias and all and all of a sudden I couldn't be in social situations anymore. I went back and told her what happened but she refused to change my dosage back. Is there anyway that the higher dosage had reverse effects?

yes, medication can do all sorts of funny things.  if your doctor isn't willing to work with you, try another doctor.  what's the big deal to cutting the dosage again just to see.  It is YOUR body and they should be willing to work with you, not dictate to you.
