Can stress/anxiety cause high temperature reading?

Just as the title says, I’m wondering if when a person is under a lot of chronic stress that won’t leave them alone (hiv scare - think about it all day everyday) sometimes when I feel really anxious I also notice I start to sweat, when checking my temperature it jumps all over the place but today on my lunch break from work I checked it and it was almost 100 ( a fever) but I was also very anxious and starting to sweat from said anxiety.

I was given lozrapam and trazadone. The trazadone I actually stopped taking as I’m pretty sure it was the cause of some severe migraine / tension head ache. I have a follow up on Tuesday coming. My life has become a living hell with my anxiety

How long were you on the trazadone, did you stop taking it abruptly, and did any of the symptoms you're complaining about happen after you stopped abruptly if you did do that?  This medication, as with most that affect the brain, must be tapered off of slowly to avoid withdrawal symptoms, one of which is sweating.  If you were only on it for a very short time, though, such as a few days or even a couple of weeks, it probably isn't a problem to stop it cold turkey, but be careful with these drugs, they must be used safely.
No I took it for 4 days before the severe head aches started, I continued to take it for another week before (so 10 days total) before I tried not taking one to see if it would help with my head ache

100 is pretty normal, actually, as temperature fluctuates in everyone depending on what they're doing.  A fever would be a sustained high temperature, not just a moment of one and then a moment without one.  Sweating is a common symptom of anxious people, as are temperature fluctuations, and they are also common side effects of the medications taken to treat depression and anxiety.

The body will react in strange ways to anxiety, FOR SURE.  Have you talked to your doctor about stress and anxiety?  Do you receive treatment?  Medication? Therapy?
