Can symtoms keep changing?

Hello there, just a quick question to ask whether its possible for your symptoms to change over months. This is whats changed.
Symptoms -
First - Pounding Heart, Chest pain, Derealization, Depersonalisation, Fear, Diorreah(i was prescribed beta blockers for this), weakness
Then - Weird feeling in head, pressure headache, Fear, strange electric feeling in head and hands,Derealization, Depersonalisation

Now -  Pounding heart(even though im on beta blockers), trembling, nausia, pressure headache, sore eyes, fear, weakness, insomnia ....

Is it possible for symptoms to change with time? Why is my heart pounding even though im on the beta blockers?
Thanks for your help.

i had all those symptoms and it started 2 years ago.. i believe symptoms really change from time to tie especially if you will be able to deal or get over with every symptoms that you experienced. Initially i felt pressure in my chest, nausea, headache, and insomia as well. I was always worried that whenever i sleep i might be dead.. I was able to get over those symptoms for several months because i went to hospital several times for testings and they all went normal.. so i realized that its all in my head.. what really helps me was when i became so health conscious that i go to the gym like 4 times a week, healthy diet, and taking like 3 types of vitamins everyday... what surprised me was even im doing it regularly i still feel those symptoms so i asked myself why. and then one time i met a person who really cares nothing. he is always drunk everyday and smoking like 2 packs of cigarette without eating and he is not feeling any pain like we did. so i just realized that this ANXIETY is just an imagination which reacts rapidly if you let it conquers you. what i want you guys to keep in mind is let your WORRIES pass you by and see if it helps.. good luck to you all and hope this could help  - flip top

Well i can not assure you 100% if symptoms can change but personally I experience a lot of uncommon symptoms.Probably this happens because I suffer from an extreme form of hypochondria which makes me check my body and my symptoms several times a day. Also I have some problems believing that all of my symptoms are produced by my mind and as a result I keep associating them with a severe health condition.
So this is what I experienced and experience:migraines even several times a week, sensation of pressure in my head or in my ears ,trembling and numbness of members, problems with swallowing-these were all related to a "brain tumor episode"
Then I started worrying about testicular cancer and I keep feeling discomfort in my testicle area as well as some temporary pains in my groin and lower abs and along my foot.
When I suspected myself of skin cancer I started feeling all sorts of scratches and every sing on my skin seemed disproportional.
When I suspected HIV i felt i had fever ,pains in my neck ,some sort of redness in my neck and also I was under the impression that every vein or artery was a swollen lymph node
These symptoms are quite recent 2 and a half months since I am dealing with this episode but I had several episodes of fears years ago too.Even tough they were not related to my health as now they kept giving me all sorts of symptoms (sweats ,nausea headaches etc)
I am currently under therapy but it is really hard for me to cope with this.
So as a response I think that symptoms can really change but it is not a personal belief as I currently think I am suffering from a severe disease

I take inderal for my high bp and migraines and it makes me so calm, blocks my adrenaline. I can't imagine feeling heart palpitations on these meds, they make my heart beat so normally, lightly, and about 30 bpm slower! Have u tried a higher dosage?

I was just recently put on beta blockers a few weeks ago for palpitations. I took xanax for 5 years and decided to get off it. I was good for 5 months then started having all kinds of stuff happening. I went to a hear doc and they diagnosed me with MVP and bigeminy, and prescribed a beta blocker for palpitations I was having. I for the most part feel calm in my "head" but feel like I'm running in my body. The only way I've known to describe it has been anxious. So back in the day my dr gave me xanax, I took it every day and it helped 90% of the time. I decided to get off of it because I felt fine, and did good for 5 months. Today I went to the dr and explained to him what was going on. I have been getting dizzy, feeling anxious again, sweaty hands, palpitations (even though I'm taking beta blocker). He wrote me a script for xanax. They did say my blood pressure was low, which might explain me getting dizzy. I"m very hesitant to take it because in my heart I feel there is something more than just anxiety.I just don't understand all of this and would like there to be more than just "your anxious, take this pill".....

I have beta blockers and just reciently found out that it may be causing me to have both anxiety and asthma symptoms! I take beta blockers for svt and have worsened symptoms now with tight chest and pain. I feel like i cannot breath properly and have a chocking feeling. I know this is not reflux!

Yes.  My anxiety started with simple attacks with shortness of breath, choking sensation, pounding heart, and lightheadedness.  It then progressed to a more drawn out lightheadedness and inability to focus, tension in the eyes, and feeling like my muscles couldn't move.  Then it changed and I started feeling pain in my heart, deep in my chest, and then became the derealization, and waves of fear that I was going insane.  This happened over the course of several months.  The only thing that helped was Lorazepam, because I am not going to go on any long term libido killing meds.  It isn't great to look online for these reassurances, but sometimes it helps to know that others have the same symptoms.

I had the breathing thing for a bit, but that was mostly to do with me thinking that my heart wasnt beating right, i was always checking my pulse. Im on beta blockers now, so my heart beats ok but sometimes my chest feels hollow, if that makes any sence. Im getting really strange feelings like that everywhere, its awfull.
