Clonozepam

Without going into the details, I overdosed big time on Clonozepam and tried to kill myself. It was the stupidest thing I ever done, and will definitely never do anything like that again. I'm very ashamed of myself for trying it and/or even thinking about it. I just got out of the Psychiatric hospital after an appx 2 week stay and my thinking is definitely better than before I went in (obviously.) But, I believe I am having bad Clonozepam withdrawal from the OD. I have big time panic attacks, lot's of shakes, shakes and sleeping is a chore, but seems to be getting better. How long can Clonozepam withdrawal last? I took the OD on 6/18? appx 30 pills at .05 mg (I thin it was .05)

You need to follow up with a counselor. I used a faith based one. They often will help for free. A little of God never hurts either. I was on Clonozepam for years. I too thought of suicide. I hate to tell you but some people have almost no problems but many do. It took me a few months to start feeling good. People react differently. It will get better though. It just might take a while. Good luck.God bless.

Glad that you realised that suicide's a no brainer. Whatever you do in future, or whatever bad things come your way, you will not go down that road again! That's a good lesson. Positive's the way to go, always aim for it, & try to accept the downs & enjoy the time when you are well. Everyone differs in their tolerance of meds etc. Only you will know how long it takes you to come off them. After a massive OD you can expect some massive problems, but they will go away given time & a change of mind set. Good Luck
