HOLY $#@!...life can't be like this.

I'm going along just fine the out of the blue my anxiety goes sky high.  I have not changed the way I eat, sleep, drink...nothing has changed.  There is a little extra stress at work but I seem to  be handling it.  We're all kinda like family...so here goes.

I'm constipated, cant sleep, all kinds of body aches and pains, mind is racing, I seem to be allergic to all kinds of foods so Im affraid to eat, no energy, lower abdominal pain, chest pain, eyes are red and very irratated.  It is all I can do NOT to rip someones head off for smiling at me.  I FEEL LIKE SH#!.  This is not living.  I'm an *** to my wife and kids because I hurt all the time, I hate my job and hate where I live.  I'm mad at God for allowing me to feel like this.

2 months ago I spent a week in the hospital.  When I was admitted I felt like dying...6 days later my eyes had cleared up, no anxiety, I could eat whatever I wanted and I FELT GREAT!  What the hell changed?

At this point I'm convinced that part of what made me feel good while in the hospital was the iv fluids.  Does anyone know what the contents of a hospital IV bag is?  What is that fluid?  I know the bag said "saline solution"  but I have to believe that there is more in that fluid other than salt and water.

What if any tests have been done to rule out other causes for how you're feeling?  IV saline solution can have a variety of things in them, depending on why it is being given to you. The saline solution also contains dextrose to counter act the high salt content, and medications can also be put in the solution. I have never heard of red eyes being part of anxiety, and you may be allergic to something in your surroundings.  I would not let this lie, see your doctor and get referred to the proper specialists. Don't assume anything, find out for sure what is going on. Some of it sounds like anxiety and anger, but not the red eyes.  This may just be my ignorance, but have never heard of it.  If something in your environment is affecting you, it can also be causing all your other symptoms.  I do wish you all the best and hope you get some relief real soon.  Take care.

Well, you said you spent a week in the hospital right?  do you think where you live and how your life is could be causing extra stress that you don't realize?  When your in the hospital everything is taken care of for you and you don't really have anything to worry about and you aren't having to work either.  I know my husband comes home in a pissy mood all the time from work.  Everyone he works with is like a 2 year old.  He has to do his job and 2 other people's job so he doesn't have to stay late or work on the weekend.  So, in turn, he's in a pissy mood and feels like sh*t when he gets home.  He also has a messed up back and we can barely have sex because of it.  He's always hurting too.  I can pretty well tell you how his 'pooping session' went, by his stress level.  He and I are such close best friends we pretty well know each other like the backs of our own hands.  His digestive issues are usually brought on by stress, other times its from soy products.  If I can just get him to keep taking metamucil for longer than 2 days, we could tell if it's anything serious or not. He liked those cinnamon apple cookies or wafers or whatever they are, but I can't find them anymore (at least in this area I can't).  He has symptoms of IBS, but the episodes of cramps and constipation or diarrhea vary on his stress level.  I can't get him to go to the doctor to rule out anything.  By the way, if you're location didn't say OK I would think you were him. lol...

With your eyes, try to use some eye drops every now and then and use a cool damp rag to hold over them for a little while when you can just sit down and relax for a few minutes.  When I had my daughter, I felt completely awesome mood wise and anxiety free.  I think it was just that I was being taken care of and being waited on 24/7.  I think the saline solution gives you a little boost of energy.  Try drinking some Powerade because it does the same thing as the IV saline solution, it's just administered differently.  Not Gatorade, since it doesn't have B-vitamins and too much sugar.  Also, I've taken some B-Vitamins before and they made me feel happy and for no reason at all.  They're expensive and I can't afford them right now, but I will eventually get some more.

All I'm trying to say is you aren't the only one out there that feels like this.  My husband is dealing with what seems pretty close to what you're saying.  Try taking some Metamucil for your stomach issues to see if that helps.  Use some eye drops and cool damp rag for your eyes.  Take some B-Vitamins.  And try to think of the positive things in life.  Try this for a few weeks and if it helps then keep with it and try to solve each issue one at a time.  If it doesn't help, try to see your doctor and talk to him about your issues.  Most doctors look at your symptoms and say "ok it's this and this and you need to take that." then they leave.  Ask him/her questions about your problems and symptoms and ask why they happen or why this occurs. Any good doctor will tell you how to try and deal with the problems/symptoms and help you understand what's going on, but you have to ask him/her to get the conversation going.  My doctor is friendly and he talks to me for a while about what causes it, why it happens and how to deal with it, but he didn't until I started asking him questions.  Good Luck and I hope you get to feeling better soon!  I hate seeing others have problems that inflict his relationship with his family.
