Health Anxiety...

I've been on here a couple times recently and I've been worried about my stomach/intestines. I've seen three different doctors for physical exams. All the poking and prodding and tapping and stuff included and they all say that there is nothing in there. I can't shake it. It feels like my stomach has air trapped in there or that it's moving things and there's churning and gurgling. I'm not sure if it's anxiety related because it does come and go. I noticed when I'm not focused on it I don't think about the feelings as much and it doesn't bother me like it does when I'm just sitting here. What is wrong with me?! I also haven't been eating much from being anxious. I suffer from a fear of vomit, like myself throwing up and it really messes with my appetite and how I see food. On a good day I'll consume 1200 calories. I'm 24 and 110 pounds. I just went in today to get a full blood work up done. Like the blood count and lipids and metabolic and something else. Really worried about it. Will these tests show if anything like cancer is inside me?! It's so bad I feel like I won't be able to overcome this anxiety and feeling in the pit of my stomach unless they cut me open and show me that there's nothing in there and I'm not slowly dying of cancer or something. Please help.

That's what I feel. It's like my intestines. I feel like there is air in here or something. It's not like pain it's pressure and air. Idk how else to describe it. I started feeling it around the time my dad was going in for his second heart surgery within 30 days of the first one and my fiancé and I getting our own place. The feeling doesn't wake me up at night and it goes away when I'm focused on other things. But like right now it's so intense and it's bothering me so much. Three doctors did exams and in still worried.

Whenever my anxiety flares, my stomach IMMEDIATELY reacts. For a few months after a bought of bad anxiety, my intestines just felt weird. Almost like there was gas in them that I could not release. I also started fearing the worst and convinced myself I had cancer. Then, I started drinking kefir and it helped out with that feeling a ton. A lot of time we are just missing some of the good bacteria and it can make our stomachs feel off.

It doesn't hurt its like I can feel things moving around in there. Like gurgles and air pockets and it's like when your stomach wants to growl but then it doesn't. It feels like that. It's so weird. My fiancé thinks I'm hyper focused on it so I'm feeling what other people don't. Like it's an auto function of the body but since I'm putting so much stress on eating and how much and when and my bowel movements and is there blood in there or what if I don't go today then will my body become ill. It's terrible. The feeling doesn't wake me up at night it only comes back when I've been awake for awhile and give myself time to think. But I'm so scared of cancer inside of me that it's ruining my life.

Constipation is actually one of the symptoms of IBS. I was told by my Dr. that frequent diarrhea WITHOUT occasional constipation is NOT IBS. There's only one blood test that's relative to IBS and that checks for Celiac disease. You can have IBS and not have Celiac disease. Does your stomach hurt often? Is the pain mostly relieved after a bowel movement?

I'm still struggling so much with it all. I keep wondering what if they missed something or what if I have stomach cancer and the blood tests lied or they missed something in my blood. I'm so afraid to eat and my stomach just feels off. I'm so scared all the time.

I also used to have a hard time believing blood test results. But my lord, why would I believe my anxiety mind over medical tests performed by trained professionals?? If they had any doubt they would be calling you back in

Yay!!! Trust your doctor and try to relax! Normal results are always good!!! My gut problems are not 100% better yet, but much better from a week ago! When we relax and take our minds out of if, it does get better!!!
Do you take any meds for your anxiety? Or therapy?! Maybe you should talk to your doctor to treat the anxiety. God bless you!
Keep me posted!

UPDATE

I just called my doctors office to change my appointment to go over my blood work and they said that in my file is the results and the doctor has already looked at them and sees that everything is normal! Nothing weird or funky going on. I'm still a little concerned as I'm focused on my stomach and that feeling is still there. People say that sometimes blood work misses things but I'm trying to just focus on the fact that it is normal

I really hope you see my comment, I'm posting from my phone so I'm not sure if it will tag you. SO good to hear your bloodwork came back and it's just fine!! I just got mine done yesterday so it'll probably be tomorrow or Thursday I should get a call about it. I'm anxious waiting. I think I do have IBS but with constipation. Maybe that's where all the bloating and gurgling is coming from. And the constipation is probably from my anxiety levels being so high for years...ahhh. Thank you for your kind words! I will let you know what my results are once I get them. It's nice to know I'm not alone!

UPDATE
I just received my blood work back! The red flag is my cholesterol a little elevated, other than that, no signs of cancer, anemia, funky liver, kidneys! So I guess it's good news!! Praying you get good results, too!

OMG!!! I'm going thru the same EXACT thing as you! Went to my doctor last week, now I'm waiting for my blood test results, which I'll see my doctor again this week to go thru the results! The waiting is killing me!!! Of corse, I contacted my friend GOOGLE and now I think I have or pancreatic, stomach or colon cancer! My doctor said our brain its connected and it's the boss of our body, and our gut suffers most when we are anxious! He poked and tapped all over my abdominal area! I hear so much noise! I have a lot of gas, discomfort and sometimes pain! He said it might be IBS - very common on pp with anxiety!
Hang in there! You are not alone in this! God bless you! And keep me posted!!!!
