Hello and help me

I'm new in this forum and I really need help.
2 months ago I had sexual risky exposure and since than my mind is going crazy.
I just keep reading the web sites looking for symptoms trying to diagnose myself. All the time I'm touching my body searching for enlarged lymph nodes or looking myself in mirror trying to see the status of my throat.
I can't spend a day without reading about possible symptoms and almost all the time I'm expecting some new symptom to occur.
I want to get out from this situation because I can't hold it much longer.
And also I want to ask can I have muscle pain due to anxiety and expecting it to happen?
please help me please

Thanks to all a lot.
You know almost everytime when I think about that than the muscle pain starts.
Also the "newest symptom" occurring right now to me are swollen glands. I continuously touch myself in neck and measure the lymph node which is bigger now :S
I take one Lexilium and it calmed me a bit but I must get tested!

go and get a test done for your concerns, reading about it does nothing but stress you more,in answer to your question about muscle pain yes anxiety do cause that along with loads of other symptoms, you are convincing yourself of all these symptoms.

you need to see a doctor if you are this worried. you sound like you also need help with  being a hypochondriac if you think you caught something go see a trained professional.. you cant do anything any way even if you do self diagnose.. you cant and do not know what to do for anti-biotics or how much you need of each. so go to a doctor

If in doubt go have a test done. Put all your fears to rest. That is all they are. Fears that bring about anxiety, and anxiety can bring about a lot of symptoms. Stop reading web sites too. They will only give you more to worry about. If you keep looking for symptoms you will find them. Even though they will all just be in your head. But go have a check up and count this time as a let off. And always have protected sex. That way no worries should arise in the future.
