High heart rate with anxiety?

Hello today I went to the er for other emergency reasons but when they took my heart rate it was at 120... they scheduled an ekg and then brought me to a room. then one of the nurses said something upsetting and my heart rate shot up to 170!! I was taking amitriptyline for migraines but saw it wasn't helping so I my mom told me to just stop taking it. Idk if this is symptom from stopping the medication or if it's just my anxiety causing this. Mind you that I'm only 13 and my anxiety is already bad... I hate school because I always find myself not wanting to do something because of my anxiety. Such as being forced to present something.. I always feel shaky my vision blurrs my heart starts pounding and my voice shakes. I can't get into my original doctor for another week because it's full. Any idea of what the doctor will do about this? And is this just anxiety causing my heartbeat to rise?

You most definitely need to see your PCP and see if you can gwt something to help control your anxiety. They will probably try to start you on hydroxyzine or buspirone. In my opinion both of these drugs are useless in severe circumstances. I recommend klonopin atavan or xanax. However most PCP will want to try to other route first. To avoid a drug keeping you normal try getting more excersize as that is one of the most helpful anti anxiety medicines there are. But everything you've described sounds like anxiety/panic attack
