How can I stop thinking about my breathing?

I keep thinking about my breathing and then I have to think about when to breath. This causes me to get light headed and feel like I'm going to faint and my heart starts beating really fast. Also my hands start to get really cold and sweaty. How can I make this stop? I missed like a week of school because I'm scared I'm going to faint in class and now school starts tomorrow and I'm scared to go back.

Try focused breathing techniques like musicians. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth. Slowly. Exhaling fully. You need to fill your diaphragm, your stomach extends.

I wish I could give you a solution, I too do this it can last a whole day! But the only thing that helps me is doing something else like going for a walk etc , some days it helps and some days as soon as I'm back home I focus on breathing again, I find sometimes lying down watching tv helps
