Special mom is right. Anxiety can definitely cause all kinds of scary physical symptoms and sensations. Those can cause even more anxiety, and before long you're having a full-blown panic attack. Been there, done that! Do whatever you can to see a therapist ASAP. In the meantime, there are some good books and other resources on coping with anxiety. If you have some short-acting anxiety meds like Ativan or Xanax, you should be fine taking those when your anxiety is really bad. I hope that helps!
You should start taking medicines, its the only way to treat and get rid of those symptoms. Take appointment with a therapist and start proper treatment. Initially it looks very hard but finally you will be better and feel good.
Hi there. Depending on what they are, yes. They can cause physical symptoms. But worse, your life takes a toll as you drive people away and just never feel as good as you could when you live unmedicated after an official diagnosis. That's what you are doing now. Ruminating over and over about various health issues that you've been reassured you don't have can definitely drive a wedge between you and a significant other.
At this point, I wouldn't take the old medication. You do need to see your doctor about moving forward treating depression and anxiety and then yes, great that you are going to begin talk therapy.
Your life could be better than it is now. That's the bottom line. good luck dear
