Be careful about too much doctor shopping. Therapy is often UNcomfortable because you are made to deal with what is uncomfortable. But the gym can be uncomfortable, too -and with a big payoff -toned up, strong, limber and you FEEL so good AFTERWARDS.

The idea of leaving your boyfriend is just that -an idea. Think about it? What would that mean if you did leave? How would your life change? As to being "too young," it is certainly true that is we all waited until just the right age to do anything, we might do nothing at all. That said, when our choices tend to shut down other options later on, it might be more accurate to say, "too early," as opposed to "too young."

The deal is -you want to get BETTER, so the next time the b/f and age thing pop up, CHALLENGE it and see where it takes you. And in all things, keep an open mind. If you DO, then all those thoughts racing around will have somewherer to go, right?

Right!

Thank you for that I got a alugh out of the whole karate kick thing haha.
but yes I do plan on switching docotrs because I don't feel commfurtable with my current doctor.

AND yes I did have a psychiatrist but I didn't find what she had to say to me very commfurting ( the whole deal that I should leave my boyfriend and im too young), I am currently on the hunt for a new psychiatrist and I also am planning to start going to the gym because I think getting more exercise will help me take my mind off all of my panic and worrying.

I also tend to overthink things too much which cause the headaches and pain :/

A dollar to a doughnut sez that if you root out whatever causes the anxiety and panic -that stuff goes away -and that includes the tummy ache and maybe even the acne mentioned on your other posts. It worked for ME, anyway, over 8 years ago, and I doubt I'll ever have it again.

The typical road to recovery is some medication and/or relaxation exercises to help you over the rough spots, and then on-going talk therapy whose purpose is emotional archaeology -to dig down and lift out past events which are "unresolved." Once they ARE resolved, things get better. Check out my journal entries for more on this, but let me leave you with this idea:

While medications may be helpful in handling symptoms, they do not and indeed cannot do your thinking for you. The brain that has generated panic as a message about emotional issues is the very same brain that will "unring" the bell. Therapy under the guidance of a skilled mental "guide" (the shrink) establishes the pathway to let this process take place.

Spend some time interacting with others here whose situation seems similar, and keep us up-to-date on your progress.

Just so you know: One of your other posts notes that when you go to the doc with a panic episode, the "readings" said you are healthy. This makes ME nervous because it seems like we are skating on the edge of the "just panic" idea that says it is no big deal, because you are really healthy.

Well, guess what, doc (and everyone)? You look like a healthy specimen. Here, let me break your leg (sound of bone splintering under my well-aimed karate kick. I sense that I'm enjoying this too much). What's the matter with you, doc? Stand up! Stop your whining. You're healthy, you're fine, it's JUST have a broken leg. Deal with it.

Yeah, sure.

So, yeah, you ARE healthy. Good. But you also have panic -and it is miserable. If this is something you need to convince the doctor about, the time has come for a new doctor. Meanwhile, you should find that the psychiatrist needs no such convincing.

OK?
