Not remembering actions

Ok so after suffering with what I thought was severe anxiety all summer long (depersonalization and consistent worry) I recently experienced a very strange and frightening symptom.

I was driving my friend and we were having a conversation the entire time, so I was awake and responding, but then I and noticed that the sunroof was open. I asked, "why is the sunroof open?" Because it was actually kind of chilly outside. And my friend said, "you just opened it." So I immediately was baffled and somewhat panicked! I don't remember opening it at all, or why I would even consider opening it. There was no point.

Why did this happen? Am I developing some serious mental illness now where I black out for short periods? Or was it just one of those things you do without really noticing?

Really concerned. Please help!

Could be a complete accident.  Its real easy to inadvertently hit a button while trying to do something else.  My mother had a car that had a sunroof and the button to open it was on the console.  My fingers are so big that every time I tried to open the console to get something out of it, I'd open the sunroof.

other times I opened the sunroof without meaning too was buckling and unbuckling the seatbelt and resituating myself in the driver's seat.

I'm sure it was just once of those things you do without realizing it. I constantly do this m, heck everybody I know does this. If you are really concerned you can talk to a doctor, but personally I think you were talking to your friend, driving, focused on the road, and simply opened the sun roof without noticing you did that action because your brains primary focus was on the other actions you were doing at the time.
