Thats really good advice mele48. I needed to read that today. Citylyfe80 i feel the same as u. I overanalyze and focus on every pain or zap i feel. Its so hard to redirect my thoughts but eventually i do and i relax a little. U need to try cognitive behavioral therapy. It could really help you. There r websites u can visit that can tell you how.
I'm sorry you're going through this!
I'm no expert on liver issues. I'm sorry you feel like your doctor is dismissing you, I'm sure that is frustrating.
I'm not sure what your diet or other lifestyle choices are, nor do I know what your medical history is. But I can share from my own experiences that diet, water, and exercise are very important and can make a huge impact on our bodies. Even over the holidays where I've eaten more greasy and fried foods from my mom's holiday cooking delights, I've noticed feeling more sluggish, a bit more fatigued, and some mild GI issues. Make sure you're getting some type of protein and fruit/veggie. Consider adding a probiotic to your diet - that puts good organisms into your digestive system that help a lot. Drinking plenty of water and reducing caffeinated/sugary beverages are good, too.
As to your health anxiety, I know this is tough. Anxiety makes us more vulnerable to hyperfocus on every physical symptom. I know this is easier said than done, but focus on the positive. Focus on what you DON'T have. That's helped me when I've been tempted to jump down the rabbit hole.
