Serequel weaning
Hey so i've posted about this before that i was being weaned off my serequel by my doctor. back in may i was put down from 100mg to 50mg then in july 50mg to 25mg then take the 25mg for two weeks then stop. last night was my last 25mg so now im finished them. today i woke up feeling cold, tired, a little nauseauted and anxious. is this normal? is my body just adjusting to not having the medication in my system? would love some feedback. thanks.
It's been 20 days now. It went away for a week but then the symptoms came back. Very bad anxiety, no appetite ( due to the anxiety) fear, don't want to interact with anybody and feeling depressed. I'm not suicidal or anything ect. I just wish I could feel normal again. I guess being on 100mg once daily for 3 years and then going off really will take a while for my brain to get back to normal function.
Yes, it's normal withdrawal symptoms. Some call it the Paxil flu. Hopefully it will pass soon. The only concern you should have, in my experience, is if it lasts a long time or if it turns into emotional problems you never had before taking medication, but right now this sounds pretty mild.
