Since you would know better than I would.

Let me start off by saying I have no clue if I'm have an anxiety problem. But two things happen to me, one not so often and another pretty often.
Sometimes when I would be sitting in class I would have this intense feeling of discomfort. I would want to tear my clothes/skin off, my hair felt like it was suffocating me, and I just wanted to run out of the room to escape. I can remember times this has happened to me in elementary school so it's been going on for awhile, however it might only happen once a year, only when I was in school. (As far as I can remember) I don't remember feeling any stress beforehand.
The second thing, which has only started happening maybe in the last year, is I have been having pretty bad chest pains. It feels like I'm being stabbed with a knife, and breathing makes the pain worse. I've been to a doctor, and I was determined healthy, and as it had nothing to do with how I ate or when, he said he didn't believe it was heart burn.
I'm hesitant to relate the two things, as well as being hesitant to say that either have anything to do with anxiety, but obviously I'm unsure. So as a forum with people who are quite sure about their having anxiety, what are your opinions?

Age wise, I'm 18.

I would recommend seeing another doctor to make sure your heart is okay. Did your doctor give you an MRI or anything to check your heart? Did anxiety start up that you know of when you had the pains? Did you feel like you were going to die when the pains came along? Just asking because I've dealt with panic attacks and they can cause that. I have also been through heart surgery.

The first one seems like a panic attack to me. I've felt that way before and just felt all my emotions at once and very overwhelming. The second one... If you had difficulty breathing then it would seem to be related to anxiety. However these symptoms do seem a bit odd and I recommend you go to a doctor and get tested for anxiety. I mean I could be totally wrong I don't want to mislead you
