TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM ?

I've done some deep research on anxiety and panic. I came up with something interesting... TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM . It says that anxiety and panic are caused my lack of magnesium and other minerals and nutrients. We eat so much **** this day in age... even if it seems healthy, foods are processed... and lack so many nutrients and minerals. Do you think this could be true?

I'm thinking about giving it a shot... and coming off my lexapro... if it doesnt work I'll go back on the lexapro.
I've only been taking lexapro for 2weeks now. Think I'll have any bad side effects? Or is it too soon?

Thank you! =)

I have been on Wellbutrin, Effexor, Trazadone and Ativan for two years. Prior to that, some form of Prozac, Wellbutrin, Depakote,  etc etc for 35 years. Within two months I tapered off and am now off all medication and feeling way better from the nutritional supplements I'm taking now than I ever was on the drugs.

You do not have to wait to stop taking the Effexor now. At two weeks you're not even on a therapeutic dose. It's toxic and it doesn't work. The naturopathic way works, I know, I tried the allopathic way for over three decades!!! The depression and anxiety, irritability, hopelessness, anger and fear destroyed ALL my relationships over the span of 35 years. The pain and depression mounted and grew with every failing relationship with my loved ones. I paid a high price for trusting the medical doctors on this one. . . . I have paid with my life. But even that thought doesn't depress me now because I found the cure to depression; adequate nutrition!

First I tapered off all medications. Then a week later guided by my new naturopath I went on Li-Zyme Forte by Biotics Research and felt some relief. I was juicing and receiving tons of micronutrients that way and my blood was being cleansed. Brain function and memory were returning but at times I still felt a sense of doom and hopelessness not related to circumstances, just out of the blue. Three weeks later I started using magnesium oil from the ancient Zechstein seabed. You just spray it on and massage it into your skin. Within one hour I felt a sense of peace and wellbeing I had never ever experienced on pharmaceuticals. At the same time I began taking Twinlabs (nonemulsified - that removes vital nutrients) Cod Liver Oil (1T twice a day) and 1T of lecithin 2 times daily.  Lecithin has tons of b vitamins necessary for peace and antianxiety.) Within 3 days I felt a renewed will to live, my depression had been that bad. Soon I was exercising, walking my dog, enjoying people, singing, working in my garden, excited about life. And, the most amazing thing is that I was finally experiencing joy, something I had never personally felt since I became depressed at the age of 11. I'm 55 now. I had experienced a kind of manic happiness before but never that calm, abinding joyl Praise God!! I'm alive!

I have read somewhere about magnesium, anything is worth a try, but I wouldent replace your lexapro with the magnesium try them together it wont hurt, and then wean of your lexapro it wont take you long if you have only been on them 2 weeks, by the way how are you doing coming of your ativan? I dont think I will ever succeed been on them 2 long.
