Twitches all over body

I've been suffering from HIV anxiety for the past 9 months after
possible exposure of unprotected sex back in June 08.

HIV test came back negative ( 6 wks, 19 wks, 25 wks, 35 wks & 37 wks)
STD's test came back negative (35 & 37 wks)
Urinalysis for UTI came back normal (6 wks, 19 wks, 25 wks & 37 wks)

My main problem is i got twitches all over my body since the incident (face, neck, chest, stomach, leg, arm, genital area, thigh, buttock etc).
It makes me feel crazy when i think about it. It twitches mostly when my muscle at rest (sitting, lying down etc).

Is it related to anxiety?? or any disease??
I got no weakness on my muscle instead of tremors/shaky/aches due to my anxiety/panic and my nicotine withdrawal symptoms.

thanks for your comment...

FYI, i'm too worried of those weird symptoms as they have been there for
about 6 mnths now after i quit smoking..
That's why i keep thinking of HIV and STDs eventhough all my tests were
negative & conclusive...
Need to follow your advise to rule out these 2 factors rite??
I'm really tired thinking about it again & again...

I'm confused whether anxiety symptoms can show up permanently for a long term??
that's make me really anxious & scared...
My Nic withdrawal make my condition even worse...

u r such a wonderful person..

Hmm..will bank in to ur account for ur coming birthday... :-D

Hey!  Glad to see that you made it to the anxiety forum..it is a great first step.

1. neck stiffness
2. hand / leg tremors (ocassionally)
3. muscle aches
4. Excessive sweating (day & night)
5. non-stop muscle twitching all over body.
6. tingling in hand and feet (occasionally)
7. morning stiffness

Any suggestion to follow up with neurologuist??

FIRST, these are classic anxiety symtpoms...I'm talking textbook.  You don't need ANY kind of specialist except a psychiatrist who can formulate a plan for attacking the anxiety.

ALL of your medical work-ups, including HIV tests came back negative...THAT IS A GOOD THING!!!  It means that you do not have a medical condition causing these sensations.

Anxiety causes very REAL physical sensations/symptoms...and until you can accept that that is what you dealing with and start tackling it...you are limiting your recovery.  As soon as you start to really address the anxiety...all of this will go away.  I'm so sure, I'd make you a bet.  Just as soon as someone fills my bank account....we're on.  ;0)

also mentioned by my drs...
our body needs 2-5 years to cleanse itself after quit smoking..
what a long journey...

I assume that
HIV anxiety + nicotine withdrawal anxiety = make me worse....(SUPER ANXIETY)

it's been 5 months now after quitting my last cigar..
it was cold turkey...
considered a heavy smoker of average 1-1/2 packs per day...
never tested for defiaciancies....

i'm still struggling with my symptoms...
stiffed neck & shoulder, sleep disturbances, muscle twitches, sweating,
quite fatigue after wake up in the morning, drowsiness, ligtheadedness,
lack of concentration, muscle aches / weakness especially arm & leg that come and go, cold feet etc...

went to several drs. and they said that my anxiety level is very high.
Confusing because my blood tests were came back normal..
I don't know how to overcome my problem...

Any opinion??

Look up how to do a body cleanse, sounds like your body is having a overload of chemicals, and possibly a deficiancy, "probably B Vit,"
have you ever got tested for deficiancys?

I get the twitch too, lol Kinda makes me laugh..its getting better though.
How long ago have you quit smoking?
Cigs have ALLOT of different chemicals in them that build up in the system, so a cleanse is reccomended.
also, Nicotine directly effects the D2 "Dopamine" receptors in your brain, and anxiety disorders and smoking are being linked together quite closely.

What about having sweat during sleep day & night (not profusely)...
(esp on my face, neck, private part)..i'm also suffering from rapid heartbeat/panic everytime i wake up from my sleep...

Is possible anxiety/stress symptom remain for a long term??
it's about 9 months now...
all my blood screen tests came back normal...

I'm really tired of having these neverending symptoms...

Sounds like anxiety to me for sure. I get this way sometimes. I wouldn't worry about it. =)
