Hi.

Does anyone here suffer from Visual Snow, or any other visual disturbances? And can it be caused by Anxiety.

I suffer from visual snow, I was wondering if it was because of my anxiety.

I suffer from both. My visual snow is due to epilepsy in my occipital lobe. I also have temporal lobe epilepsy, which my doctor thinks is contributing to or causing my anxiety. This went undiagnosed for years because my epilepy didn't show up on an eeg. While eegs can be a great diagnostic tool, it does not always catch seizures. Unfortunately, many neurologists treat it as if it does. They were treating me like I was being a hypochondriac, until it showed up on a spect test, and subsequent MRI showed that I had some brain damage in my occipital lobe do to complications when my mother was pregnant with me. You probably should talk to your doctor about this possibility.
