There is no normal. If it bugs you, pay attention to it and try and cut down on it. If it doesn't bug you, hey, it's just you. We're all weird down here some way or another.
I do this all the time (obviously not in public), and my only mental health issue is dysthymia (mild chronic depression). So I guess it's normal
I just actually read that talking to yourself can actually be healthy. It can help organize your thoughts and focus what's inside to the outside world. Hope this info brings sime relief. If it continues to cause you distress talk to your Dr.
Hi! Just wanted to let you know, yes it's normal.
Something practical you can try is to sit down and write these thoughts down. Maybe you'll find there's a writer hidden inside you, but I'm also hoping that doing this will flush the thoughts out by memorializing them and clear your head -- for your next thoughts, of course! Use it, don't fear it.
My grandfather always said "it's ok to talk to your self but it's when you answer you should worry I always toalk to my self in the head around bedtime. Making me go insane
Personally, I believe LOTS of people do this. I wouldn't worry. I do believe this falls into normal behavior. Especially if it helps you work things out within yourself. Good luck
