Hi,
This is a fairly requested feature and something we have looked at. However, the Browsers themselves are already doing this, so we have decided not to build this on our own. This is possible to get right now though. Here are two ways.
1. Switch your browser to Firefox - Firefox already has a spell checker built into the browser. So, as you type, it spell checks. You can get Firefox here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ (by the way, this is faster than IE and is a terrific browser so worth a try)
2. Internet Explorer Plug In - If you use Internet Explorer 7, there's a nice plug in that adds the spell checker. It's at: http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/details.aspx?view=info&itemid=1513531.
Hope this helps.
Harry
Harry here refers to 2 of the methods you will find in my spell check journal entry. Firefox is the first way in that journal, and the plug in is the 3rd way I offer.
Some notes:
With the plug-in (also called an "add-in" and going by the name ieSpell) there is no limitation I know of (and none appearing on the developer's web site) to Internet Explorer 7 only. Originally released in March of 2002, it should work with practically ANY version of Internet Explorer. Red Egg Software, the developer, has issued no restriction to version 7 of which I am aware.
If you follow Harry's link to the plug-in (ultimately takes you to the same place as mine) be sure NOT to include the period at the end -or you'll get an error message.
