Xanax Withdrawal?

So about a month ago I had a pretty bad scare due to health anxiety, and my doctor gave me 30 pills of .25 Xanax to take whenever I felt anxious while I got my symptoms for my supposed 'disease' sorted out. And due to late test results making me panic, I have taken a pill nearly every day up until yesterday in which I took the last one. Yesterday was when I meant to stop, but even though I had nothing to really be anxious about, I still felt anxiety and tightness in my throat that I just gave in and took the last pill. Today something similar happened, I had bouts of anxiousness that at least right now, have for the most part subsided even though I still feel a little 'out of it'.

Is it possible that it's Xanax withdrawal? I've had health anxiety panics before but this was the first time I took Xanax that regularly to calm myself down so not feeling the usual bounce back to normal made me wonder if this was the reason for it.

Could be.  Might not be.  As your symptoms are quite mild, it should pass, but if it doesn't, you might need to go back on the Xanax and taper off slowly.  But you were only on it for a short time which usually doesn't lead to a major withdrawal, and again, your symptoms are pretty mild for benzo withdrawal.  It could be just the same thing still going on that led to you're taking them in the first place.  It does go to show, though, that every time life gets hard doesn't mean it's time to run to difficult drugs.

Anxiety can't be metered so it is always up to the individual to try to figure this tough question of "What is my anxiety level and is it normal?" I wouldn't think 30 would get you to the point you have withdrawal symptoms, but maybe someone else will comment.
I'm guessing "supposed disease" means the disease you thought you had. Are the health results fine, when did they come in and do you think that was the only reason you were anxious?
