Sometimes a particular antidepressant is too stimulating for someone suffering from anxiety. Remember, these meds were developed for people suffering from depression, and many anxiety sufferers actually have anxiety that stems from depression -- when someone is depressed, a down disorder, they need an up, but anxiety is an up disorder that needs a down. Now, this may go away -- the med hasn't started to work yet, that'll probably take 4-6 weeks to find out -- but side effects start immediately as your body fights off this foreign substance. Your vision sounds like a vascular thing, like a migraine, and could also be a side effect. Your choice is to tolerate it until you learn whether the benefits outweigh the negatives or stop it and try a different med. or a different strategy.
