I hate it when doctors dismiss the way you are feeling because it is due to anxiety. Oh that makes me all better. " It's just anxiety. " You still have the pains and the weakness and the dizziness and the shakes and the hot flashes etc....They are no less real. They feel the same as someone with actual physical illnesses. If your doctor can't empathize with this you really must find one who can. It's a long hard journey and you need to take it with someone who understands what you are going through.
yea it *****.if all the tests r normal y aint we. the physical syptoms r killing me
I have anxiety all the time too. Even with meds, i still have it. meds do help, but they dont solve the problem, i wish they did. i had a bunch of tests done too, and my cardiologist told me it was "all in my head."
yea i have been dizzy , loss of appetite, and just constantly worried for the past 6 months, EVERDAY ALLDAY....i had ALL the test done and everything was fine. so now i just started seeing a therapist and the things anxiety can do is just crazy.

im going to a psych tuesday 1st time and a mri of the brain thursday my nuroulgist said it would be normal but piece of mind for me.
Yes, they can. What are you doing to address the anxiety? Since you've ruled out all other causes, it's time to take care of the anxiety. Getting help will either rule anxiety in or out and this needs to be done so you can feel better. Anxiety is a very powerful thing that can create mind boggling symptoms. Keep in mind that our worry and fears are what feeds our anxiety and keeps it going strong. Try to distract yourself, journal your feelings, it's a form of release for us and is very therapetuic. Make an appt. to see a psychiatrist for an evaluation so the two of you can detrmine the best course of treatment for you....therapy and/or medication. Our anxiety often has a root cause which is usually a traumatic event from our past which we never truly dealt with, it rears it's ugly head demanding to be dealt with in the form of anxiety and/or depression. Therapy is very helpful with this and can help you discover what that may have been...deal with it and move on. But therapy can be a lengthy process so often medication is needed to control the sympotms, just like any other medical condition. You don't have to feel this way, there is so much help for you and you're certainly not alone. I hope this helps and best wishes.
