bi polar or anxiety?

Hello! My name is Devon and I've been diagnosed with Bi polar 2, panic and anxiety disorder and ocd. I've been doing great lately until abouta week ago when I woke up one morning ( still feeling fine  ) and had 4 cups of coffee throughout the morning. I ate and then decided to do a work out... During the workout I was feeling really weak so I stopped half way through and called it a day for that. I took a bath and my feelings of my body being weak just got worse. I started getting really restless and brain foggy. I literally walked around the house to abour 5 hours straight. At the time I didn't really have much anxiety or anything like that. The next 2 days I was feeling similar to that day and all of a sudden I started getting super bad anxiety and upper stomach gross feeling. My brain was really foggy and my body just felt like it was rejecting something. I was really weak and my body was shaky. I ended up freaking out and having to go to the hospital where I was in the pysch department for 6 hours. My blood work came back fine and of course no drugs in my system or whatever. They sent me home with some adivan ? I think its called... And when I take that it makes me feel calm but about 8 days on from my over consumption of coffee and stuff like that I still am getting brain fog, anxiety and my body feels like its rejecting and twitchy/jittery. ( even though I'm extremely tired ) I don't know if this is an induced bi polar episode or something like that but its really bugging me and I feel like I'm going crazy. The pills I take are Gabapentin 100mg, Risperidone .25 I think and venflaxine. O.35. Before all of this I was doing better than I ever have so its weird I'm going into this spell. Any help is good

I'm certainly not suggesting u go cold turkey being that it's a year that would be dangerous

Yes it doesn't bother some people, maybe just people like myself (I suffer ocd, anxiety, depression but the horrific crying & suicidal thoughts came back like a flood within one week of Gabapentin & and went away almost immediately when I stopped cold turkey) -but I've read of people who never fought suicidal ideations , depression ect that get these problems with this drug. All things react differently with different people. It's a very dangerous drug for many, perhaps it's notbthevpain pills they should think are killing people maybe it's the off brand use of drugs- like GABA

Well I've been taking gabapentin for about a year now and it doesn't seem to have an effect on me that way other then these last two weeks because of the coffee I think.

They gave me Gabapentin for nerve pain I began crying having suicidal thoughts just after one week on them. Coffee seems to have done a number on you. I have everything u have but not bipolar. I don't like the avatan as much as clonazepam it's very mild once in body I take venlafaxine 75 mg a day. Be careful with gabapentin though it's used off label for bipolar & nerve pain it's for epilepsy. It's a group on the internet for this because several almost tried suicide while on this. Ask ur doctor to try something elee

Do you wanna know the symptoms that I have on a regular basis or only as I go through this spell?

Nobody can diagnose you on the internet, and it's unlikely you have some very rare disease, so don't let people frighten you.  But it does sound like you were sick, perhaps a minor virus, as that would be consistent with your feelings after working out.  Combined with taking a lot of drugs one of which is very stimulating and a lot of coffee in a short period of time your anxiety kicked in, as it does.  I'm curious about your actual symptoms, though, as Bipolar 2 and OCD are very often diagnosed but seldom exist as something other than just being obsessively anxious and depressed.  Categories are most often created for purposes of medication approval and patent and insurance company coverage -- they aren't necessarily any different from what they were before doctors start going to town on them.  I only say this to say, it sounds like you suffer basically from anxiety and depression, and that makes us exaggerate things -- it is what the disorder is.  I hope that's all this is.

There are common but rarely diagnosed conditions that will cause all of your problems, brain fog, anxiety, depression, exercise intolerance, muscle fatigue, chronic fatigue and many more problems. I have one of these conditions called May-Thurner Syndrome. Another one that someone I know has is called Nutcracker Syndrome. It's possible you have one of these or both. I had a stent placed recently at the May-Thurner site and almost immediately all problems dissappeared. Hope this helps and feel free to private message me if you have any questions.
