breathing difficulties

hello. i have a question regarding anxiety/panic symptoms.

i am 33 yrs old.

i've had on and off  panic attacks for the past 10 yrs.

first they came as being dizzy all the time and generally symptoms relating tremors etc..

then came irregular beats which dr said heart is ok .

now came shortness of breath. i 've had a few attacks which i don't know what to make of them.

tonight this happned . i went out to the shops and suddently i had difficulty breathing and generally not feeling ok, choking feeling, urgency to flee and urgency to use the bathroom .

was really really scared but managed to come home allright.

does this sound like a panic attack or could it be something more ??

when i came home i took my bp and it was 11/7 and pulse 72.

note that i do power walking almost every day, climb stairs and walk about everywhere and don't
get that feeling maybe a bit winded but nothing like this. this is odd.

i am kinda scared cause i have mvp with mild regurgitation but checked it last june, dr said i am fine.

pls tell me what you think.

Do this yog pranayam and the breathing difficulty will gradually ease.As you are quite active, you will notice the benefit in days.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 10 to 20  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
When you feel good with this, then you will want to do the other pranayam as well.

I have just started getting panic attacks, started this past july. I have not had many panic attacks but I have anxiety everyday pretty much all day.  Recently i get out of breath doing the simplest things and when I feel a full on attack coming I get shortness of breath real bad.  So I think it is from anxiety but I am new to it all. I have done ALOT of research online about anxiety and shortness of breath is listed very often in the symptoms. Hope this helps somewhat. Feel better.
