If you really want to know about natural remedies for mental problems, there's a book called Natural Highs by Hyla Cass. She's a psychiatrist associated with UCLA med school. Using natural remedies usually requires a combination of herbs and amino acids, B vitamins and minerals. If you really get panic attacks, it's going to take a lot of work, and best to see a naturopath who knows the stuff well. Never heard of PanicAway, but as silverberg describes it, probably bogus. The important thing is, what's in it? And how do you know the manufacturer guarantees quality if you don't know who makes it or formulates it? Best to stick with tried and true companies founded before this stuff became big business; after all, the stuff isn't new, it's been around forever.
I honestly can't say anything bad about the :PAnicAway treatment!
I do know I don't like the way they plant people in different websites to promote their product! I have been to a number of websites and someone will mention panicaway and it's only a lead in to a commission for them, in that regard I do not Like that programs PRATICES.
I did visit thier website and they go on on on about the 'SECRET" to stop panic with one "magic way" (they always keep secret) , that's the way they get you to buy their product, I am all for the free market, but as I said earlier, this man say's he had Panic Attacks and for the life of me, I do not know one person on this earth who has REALLY had a panic attack, that if they found the MAGIC CURE would sell it.
the best way honestly, is ALLOT OF HARD WORK on your part to get better, either with or without meds and therapy.
good luck.
Have you been diagnosed with a specific problem, or are you just having a rough time recently? If your problem is serious, it is best to see a professional, whether it is a pharmacist, psychiatrist or counselor.
If you can buy PanicAway in a pharmacy, ask the pharmacist for info.
Herbals can be dangerous when taken in combo with certain drugs, and are not regulated, so there is no guarantee of purity (you could be getting 10 mg or 50 mg in a pill, no matter what the package says).
I have not heard of that one, is it a supplement?
I have found B vitamins to be very effective in the treatment of anxiety and panic, also, if you have food allergies or sensitivities, these can be a contributing factor as well. How is your blood sugar? If that is too low or high, that can also cause some anxiety and panic feelings.
I think to start, I would try a good, food grade multi vitamin with extra emphasis on the B vitamins, a good multi mineral and see if avoiding certain foods help. Also, if possible, try to exercise at least 30 minutes a day, this is great for depression as well as anxiety.
