I tried it, too. Loved it. It didn't work, but it felt great. It's worth a try, I think. I stopped because my therapist died way too young, he was always trying new hypnotic techniques. Maybe he would have found one that worked. But hypnotherapy isn't a stand-alone, you still have to do the cognitive stuff and the working on issues, it's mostly for difficult cases where the patient doesn't respond well. Like me.
I tried hypnotherapy years ago with no success, but it may have improved since then.
