Aside from the fact this gal posted her quesiton back in MAY, which means she has long since departed AND returned, her problem was that her doctor would not prescribe anything for her. Your advice to take 0.5mg of Xanax q4hr would have been helpful way back then IF she had even been able to get it.

We appreciate you responding, but do mind the dates of the posts.

Thanks

Personally I'd get rid of that doctor.............MANY people require some kind of mild tranquilizer before flying, which therefore makes your doctor a moron.
Try to find another doctor who understands flying phobia if you have time.
Don't try to get on the plane drunk if you couldn't find a doctor to prescribe..........don't know about your side of the pond, but over here they won't let you board if you're even a little tipsy.
Barring any sort of chemical relief, try to accept the fact that out of all the airplanes in the sky the day you'll be flying, the odds of the one you're in crashing are nearly astronomical.
And if none of that helps, just remember that when it's your time to go, it's your time to go..........none of us knows when or how, so you might just as well settle back and enjoy the ride!
You'll be fine. The drive to the airport is far more risky!
Peace
