is it really anexiety?

Hi
Almost a year ago I started to feel dizzy and fainty. First time I had black spots if front my eyes while at work, second time it happened in the supermarket I lost my consciousness for few seconds.
Since than I am feeling "funny" from time to time. When tired, stressed, ill or simply out of blue !!!
I did my blood tests and pressure and sugar level and basic neurological examination.
Doctor couldnt find anything physical wrong with me so he suggested to visit a psychologist.
They diagnosed me with panic and anexiety attacks and Ive took some brathing lessons and regular psychologist visits.
One year later I still have odd feeling of being dizzy and spaced out in the most uncomfortable and unpredictable situations that does not neccesarly involve stress...
My question is what shall I do and who should I see in order to get some proper answer on what the hell is wrong with me?

It stopps me from working long hours, going out with friends just because I never know when I will feel dizzy again and maybe faint in public.

Please help

thanx guys for the reply, I really just need to u nderstand where is it all coming from, Cause I blame myself for not being in best shape and form and just like you Cj29 I am scared of doing IT in front of people.

Yes I fainted in the supermarket. But I was having a flue and travelled for a month around Europe so it was my first day home (I guess I was just worn out).

I would love to try therapy. I also heard some herbal medication is good to calm down such as melissa and valeriana... and vitamin B and magnesium.

Well now Im really trying to explaing it to myself that there is nothing to be worry about cause when you are having panic attacks there is no way on earth you can faint! Thanks to adrenaline rush. . .
What kind of therapy did you do Cj29?

Amish is right about the loop.  Three years ago when I had my first panic attack it really threw me for a loop. I was afraid to leave my house and even walking up a flight of stairs because I was stressing my body too much.  I was afraid of panicing in front of people and this led to depression as well.  I got myself out of this from seeing a good therapist, medication, and good support.  I was panic free for years until now.  I suggest that you join this forum.  The people in here really know what you are going through and genuinely care about what happens to you.  You WILL get through this.

A large part of the problem is the fear-anxiety-fear loop.  You aren't going out with friends because you fear that your anxiety will cause you dizziness and fainting, which is causing MORE anxiety and fear.

So you actually fainted in the Supermarket?
