I agree...just go get checked out by your doctor just to be sure, but believe him/her when/if he/she thinks it is anxiety. Anxiety, especially health anxiety, can really get us into a pattern of thinking where we keep searching for a cause to a symtpom in my experience. Anxiety affects us all in different ways, but some of my worst bouts could happen at night, so do not be afraid to confront and learn about this...knowledge is definitely power to deal and beat this...keep us posted!

I would suggest to see your GP to rule out any physical causes for your symptoms first (physical examination and blood tests)
The symptoms you describe and anxious feelings can be caused by a number of things. It does NOT have to be an anxiety disorder:)
