anxiety when period due!!

hi im 30 years old and been on microgyan 30 for 12 years no probs, but for the last 18 months i now get anxiety attacks, feeling sick, really angry and just feeling horrible when i would ovulate and the week before period, the rest of the month im fine!. i ve tried 10mg citralpram but didnt agree with me, at mo i just take kalm tablets but im finding they are not working as good anymore. i went back to docs and she changed my pill to celiste i havent started taking it yet, but i was wondering if i should stop the birth control and c if it is that or if it is my body making me anxious as im sure its a hormonal problem. ive also been taking a multivitamin tablet everyday to increase my b6 and b12, doing more exercise even thinking about yoga. any suggestions welcome i will try just about anything if i could go back to feeling ok again, or i would like to hear if any1 else has this problem so i know im not on my own thanks x

I'm a bit long in the tooth for bc pills, so do cut me some slack here! You've been on this particular med since you were 18 years old. Our bodies do change as we age and an 18 y/o body is not the same as a 30 y/o body. It's possible this particular bc has simply run it's course for you. For the past year you've been experiencing what so many women deal with every month so there's no surprise you're a bit spooked. I agree that it's most likely related to a shift in your hormone levels, so a trip to OB/GYN is definitely in order. I don't think you should just stop taking them without consulting your GYN. I don't know enough about these drugs to know if you CAN just cold turkey them, especially after 12 years, but it's best to play it safe.
I think you're too young to be experiencing perimenipause, but some women DO begin to notice changes in their 30's. Your GYN will be able to tell for sure with blood work.
You say you'll try anything, but before you do that, try talking with your doctor. I'm guessing the solution will be pretty simple.
Peace
