Hi there,
Please check your PM's and your email. We have sent you a list of some resources for you.
Best wishes and please keep us updated,
Steph
I don't mean to sound rude. I was hoping for something to do at home. I cannot drive myself to the doctor nor can my parents afford a physiologist if they were even okay with it.
Just repeating this won't help you. Several people have offered you alternatives here to your parents -- please take the good advice to heart and get better.
like I said my parents won't help me, I have no access to therapy, medicine, or even venting.
Hey bro, I know what you're feeling. We're all in the same boat, that's why most of us feel like falling down. But knowing how hard it feels, we're always here to catch anyone who knows this fear. We are your friends, you shouldn't deal with it all by yourself
I understand what you are saying about religion, but it was just a suggestion and it has helped me so I was just trying to help someone else out with what helped me. Does it help everyone, maybe not but neither does everything we all suggest help everyone. I do agree that therapy would be the best course. I hope someone can step up and help this person find a good professional therapist.
I'm always cautious about putting religion into this -- while it certainly does help some people, it also leads others to believe that if there is a God and they aren't doing well God must be against them. I go with therapy -- you need to get into therapy and see if you can find out why you feel this way or at least learn techniques such as meditation and relaxation and CBT so you can work your way out. Perhaps there is another relative in your family who can intervene for you with your folks, or a counselor at school who can help you get the help you need. If you are religious, by all means use it for your benefit, but don't let it become something negative. Peace.
I have had anxiety for many years. Believe me I know what you are feeling, but you can't let it take control of your life. I have to fight anxiety on and off for years. I have found that obsessing over it does not help at all. You need to exercise this helps a lot. Talking to people and getting involved in something helps to. What has really helped me is cutting out sugar, carbs and processed food as much as possible. Cutting down on sugar has helped me with other medical problems as well. If you are religious then praying helps a lot too. Never give up. Anxiety is not easy to handle sometimes but you can get well. Take care.
I know it's hard to deal with I'm 20 years old and still can't over come mine taking your own life isn't the way out I don't know you but honestly taking your life isn't the way out.. you can learn to cope with it you just have to trick your mind when I feel anxiety attacks coming on I type in on Google anxiety attacks and it helps settle it down a little bit.. the best thing to tell your self when it hits is I am not alone god is with me and keep repeating it until the attack passes.. God doesn't give you anything you can't handle dear and if you turn to god and put your full faith and trust into him and pray everything will get better that's what I did and it's slowly getting better for me.. it takes time and patience but please don't take your own life bc of the anxiety it is very treatable..
