When I was 15 I had my first anxiety attack after the passing of my grandmother then I always had small little panic attacks here and there and I was always full of anxiety especially in large crowds then I kinda out grew that and felt somewhat normal around 25 until about 2 weeks ago I got laid off from my job of 4 years (really loved that job and co workers).....I went ro bed feeling fine woke up at 1am to my jaw half numb heart beating fast throat feeling like it was closing and my hands and feet were like ice and I was so dizzy it was ridiculous....I went to the hospital and they said I had a panic attack and that I should follow up with a doctor and possibly see a therapist (im the type who holds things in) so I went to the doctor she said the same thing and prescribed me paxil and a anxiety med (paxil made me feel worst) and this was 2 weeks ago and I still have no appetite and I have lost about 10ish lbs in a month......

Hi there.

When we're experiencing high and chronic levels of anxiety, it's normal for the most mundane things to trigger a panic attack.  Can you give us a little history about yourself?  How old are you?  How long have you been feeling anxious?  Did you experience any big life changing events prior to the onset of the anxiety?  Have you sought any kind of professional help for the anxiety?
