side effects? please help.

Its been awhile since I haven't woken up with neck pain in the top of the back part of my neck. I also suffer from horrible anxiety. 8 days ago I started 20mg of celexa and two after I developed a constant tremor in arms, legs, jaw, and head. It isn't a violent tremor and it's barely noticeable. I went to the doctor and he cut my dosage in half but I stopped taking two days ago of this fear I developed over the tremors. My mind is going crazy with thoughts about serious diseases. Any thoughts on my situation would be great appreciated. By the way I'm a 23 year old male that's healthy. Full blood work a year ago with nothing wrong.

I don't think I can handle the side effects and the anxiety that has come along because of them. I just want these thoughts out of my head. I'm tired of thinking these side effects could be a disease.

Tremors comes with anxiety. And most people with anxiety are nervous about taking meds. You have to look at the pros and cons. If the pros out weigh the cons tremor on. My hands and legs tremor but without Med I am not functionable and barely function with med

Do these side effects sound normal? The tremors didn't start till taking celexa but I keep having those thoughts that it could be some serious disease and its really freaking me out. I've never felt tremors before and I truly feel scared. I have a tendency of obsessing over these thoughts which only makes matters worse.

If you are not taking any medicine now, you need to get in with your doctor asap and have him prescribe something different that will be effective for you.  You sometimes have to try several different meds before finding the one that helps your symptoms without the terrible side effects.  Just be honest w/ the doctor and you will get the help you need.
