tounge wagging
I have noticed that my wife recently has started sticking out her tounge and moves it back and forth across her teeth, and partly out side of her mouth, and does not realize that she is doing it, is this a symtom of something she should she a doctor for.
Hiya, i remember my grandad use to do that alot, he couldnt control it and im sure it was a nervous habit.
If it becomes problematic maybe she should pop along to the doc just to make sure all is ok.

What you are describing sounds benign to me; i.e. perhaps her mouth is dry and that is her way of stimulating saliva.
Why not, in a kind way, ask her if she notices she is doing it and if so, why. After all, she is your wife.

Hello, is your wife nervous? Does she seem to be pre-occupied? I think I would probably see a doctor and at least let them know what is going on. It could be just "nerves" then agian, it could be something else.
