zoloft and paxil

I have been on Zoloft for 3 years.  My doctor Rx  paxil because of heart palpultations.  Is it safe to take both?  I take the Zoloft during the day and Paxil at night because I noticed it helps me sleep.

I don't know. Most doctors don't put patients on two antidepressants at the same time, at least to the best of my knowledge. You might want to call your local pharmacist and ask him/her for their advice. They ARE Doctors of Pharmacology.
I doubt seriously that your doctor would put you on these meds if there was a potential lethal interaction, but it never hurts to be proactive in your own health care and do a little research.
Knowledge is power.
