Burning knee

I've been told I have arthritis of the patella. The first time was six years ago. I described burning pain then. I still have it now. I have had synvistic injections with success but the doctor who gave them to me retired and now I was given eulasta and it has done nothing. I was told the burning was from my neuropathy. Has anyone else experienced the burning pain who does not have neuropathy?

Neurontin caused weight gain and I became allergic to lyrica as well as gaining weight. In the past two years after stopping lyrica due to laryngeal edema, I lost 20 lbs. I also started a gluten free diet and dropped another 30lbs. I do much better without that extra 50 lbs. I'd rather deal with the pain than deal with excessive weight.

I'd like them to concentrate on the cause of the neuropathy, nothing they have made any attempt at. I do have a confirmed case of small fiber neuropathy as well as autonomic neuropathy. I just didn't think the knee cap would be affected.

Are they giving you anything for the neuropathy?  Some Neurontin or Lyrica might make a big difference.
