Which type of arthritis do you have? I have rheumatoid arthritis, and for me it takes different medications depending on how severe the symptoms are. Sometimes NSAIDs help, but sometimes I have to take a mild narcotic.
Also, I would recommend seeing a pain management doctor.  My father has osteoarthritis and he gets relief from Aleve and applied heat.
I hope you find something that helps you.

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Arthritic spine can indeed be very painful and debilitating. However, Treatment indeed depends on the symptoms present. If conservative measures such as pain/anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy and ice/heat application do not work, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Alternative treatments and surgery may be considered.  Take care and do keep us posted.
